The Milwaukee Bucks are set to face the NBA-leading Boston Celtics on Wednesday night, but they will be without their star player Giannis Antetokounmpo. Antetokounmpo has been sidelined due to a left hamstring issue and will miss his second consecutive game.

This will be the fifth game that Antetokounmpo has missed this season, with the Bucks having won three out of four games without him so far. The two-time MVP is currently ranked third in the NBA in scoring, sixth in rebounding, and 15th in assists.

The game between the Celtics and Bucks on Wednesday marks the third meeting between the two teams this season. The Celtics secured a victory in Boston on November 22, while the Bucks claimed a win in Milwaukee on January 11. They are set to face each other again on April 9 in Milwaukee.

With a 10-game lead over the Bucks in the Eastern Conference standings, the Celtics are in a strong position entering the matchup on Wednesday night. However, it will be interesting to see how Antetokounmpo’s absence impacts the game and if the Bucks can secure a win against league leaders without their star player.

Despite missing out on one of their top players, it’s worth noting that without him, James Harden led Milwaukee with 35 points and Khris Middleton had 28 points against New York Knicks last week.
