Cody’s Irish Pub & Grille, a beloved restaurant that has served the Chittenden County community for over 25 years, is permanently closing its doors. The announcement came on the day after St. Patrick’s Day when owner Kevin Cody posted a heartfelt note on the pub’s Facebook page.

In his message, Cody expressed his gratitude to loyal patrons, friends, and family who have supported him over the years. He reminisced about the honor of spending time with customers and shared his love and respect for all those who entered and supported Cody’s Irish Pub. Despite its closure, Cody wished that the memories created at the pub would stay with customers forever.

Cody’s Irish Pub was known for its diverse menu that included dishes such as burgers like Rodeo Burger and Guinness Burger, along with pub-style fish and chips, hot corned beef, and Irish Rachel sandwiches. On its final day of business, the pub celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with corned beef and cabbage specials, Guinness specials, Irish music, and unlimited shenanigans.
