The Department of Neurosurgery at Hospital E planned to treat the tumor through embolization followed by surgery to minimize blood loss during the operation. After an 8-hour surgery, they successfully removed the entire tumor and surrounding tissue, preserving important nerve functions and limiting blood loss. The girl showed positive signs of recovery, including alertness, good appetite, and normal mobility 10 days after the procedure. Subsequent imaging tests confirmed that there were no residual tumors or lesions remaining.
Meningiomas account for 20% of all intracranial tumors and are usually benign if promptly treated with surgery.
