Science Museum Oklahoma (SMO) and FOX 25 are collaborating to educate the community about weather safety this weekend. On Saturday from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M., SMO will be hosting Storm Safety Day, where visitors can learn important information about weather preparedness.

FOX 25’s Chief Meteorologist Jack Gerfen will be hosting special live shows at 11 A.M., 1 P.M., and 3 P.M. to provide critical weather updates and insights. Along with the live shows, there will be activity and information tables set up by various organizations, such as the National Weather Service, Oklahoma City’s Office of Emergency Management, and the American Red Cross. Visitors can also participate in hands-on science experiences with SMO’s museum educators, which will help them understand how wind, electricity, and air pressure work. All activities and demonstrations are free with admission to the museum.
