Ubisoft has announced that Star Wars Outlaws will be available on Aug 30, following the early leak of its release date. Pre-orders for the game went live on April 9 and players who purchase the Gold or Ultimate edition will have three days of early access, along with other digital goods.
The game focuses on the character Kay Vess, a cunning scoundrel in the first open-world Star Wars game. The storyline follows Vess’s journey as a skilled thief whose actions catch the attention of Sliro, the leader of Zerek Besh, a criminal syndicate. After a bounty is placed on her head, Vess and her companion Nix are presented with an opportunity for freedom by attempting to pull off a major heist.
To complete this job, Vess and Nix must navigate across the galaxy’s underworld and earn the support of criminal organizations like Pyke Syndicate, Hutt Cartel, Ashiga Clan, and Crimson Dawn. This will help them pull off their daring heist. Ubisoft emphasized in a statement how crucial it is to gain trust and backing from these legendary criminal groups to succeed in Star Wars Outlaws.
According to the game’s box art, an internet connection is required for installation when it launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms. With its compelling storyline, open-world gameplay and strategic alliances with criminal factions, Star Wars Outlaws looks set to be an exciting gaming experience for fans of the franchise.
