The Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) has released a request for proposals (RFP) for Site Operations Support Services 5 (SOS5), an 8(a) small business set-aside contract. SOS5 aims to provide a variety of housekeeping and facility operation services to support the efficient operations and maintenance of NETL facilities in Oregon, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

Interested parties are invited to respond to the RFP by May 17. The selected contractor will play a key role in providing a safe and clean working environment for the Department of Energy’s staff working at these sites. The RFP was posted on SAM.gov on Monday, and work locations and the contract type cost will be determined based on the specific requirements. SOS5 has a base period of performance of 24 months, with three options available that can extend the work to 60 months if exercised.
