Erakulis, a new wellness app founded by Portuguese professional football player Cristiano Ronaldo, is set to launch on April 3. The app will provide users with fitness, nutrition, and mental health services. Ronaldo founded the company with the goal of offering holistic health solutions that combine technology with carefully curated content created under his guidance.
Users of the app will have access to personalized wellness plans that include fitness programs, nutrition advice, and mental wellness resources. They will also be able to schedule online video appointments with health and wellness experts, as well as connect with other members through a community platform.
Ronaldo emphasized the importance of discipline, focus, and balance in his own success as a professional athlete in a statement. He explained that these elements have been incorporated into the design of Erakulis, which is part of a growing trend of athletes venturing into the health and wellness industry. Tennis star Serena Williams has been investing in digital health startups, including Juno Medical which raised $12 million in funding. Additionally, Williams has also invested in connected fitness company Tonal, alongside basketball players Stephen Curry and Paul George, and professional golfer Michelle Wie.
