In an effort to tackle sleep disorders like insomnia and sleep apnea, Evezary, a South Korean bedding manufacturer, has entered into a collaboration with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST). Together, they are focused on establishing a sleep research center that utilizes technological advancements to create an AI-driven solution that can evaluate the quality of sleep.

The motivation behind this initiative stems from research highlighting the importance of sleep in removing harmful substances from the brain. Sleep disturbances could potentially lead to brain-related illnesses. Evezary has demonstrated their commitment to this collaboration by investing one billion won ($747,384) in stocks for joint research projects, underscoring their dedication to improving sleep quality and addressing related health issues.

This partnership reflects a larger trend among South Korean companies to enhance sleep-related devices and technologies in response to the increasing awareness of the importance of quality sleep. By combining their expertise and resources, Evezary and KAIST are aiming to make significant strides in developing innovative solutions to address sleep disorders and improve overall sleep health.
