GE HealthCare, a medical technology company known for its innovative solutions, has partnered with Vinmec and VinUniversity to enhance training in the field of image diagnosis and ultrasound. The tripartite agreement aims to improve diagnostic and treatment capabilities through the deployment of advanced solutions, including artificial intelligence applications.

Vinmec, a private medical system with 7 hospitals and 3 international clinics, is renowned for its expertise in various medical fields. VinUniversity, a private, not-for-profit university established by Vingroup, has strategic partnerships with Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania to provide high-quality education. Together, they will collaborate with GE HealthCare to provide training courses on image diagnosis and ultrasound.

The partnership will focus on key areas such as Oncology, Neurology, Cardiology, Musculoskeletal, and Sports Medicine. Through this collaboration, doctors and medical students will have access to innovative technologies and equipment used at Vinmec’s hospitals. This partnership signifies a significant step towards incorporating cutting-edge technologies into the healthcare system in Vietnam.

In addition to providing training courses, the three parties will also work together on scientific research to create a data warehouse and clinical evidence for new technologies and applications on GE HealthCare’s imaging diagnostic systems used at Vinmec. This research aims to improve patient outcomes by simplifying the medical treatment process through personalized care.

The cooperation model between hospitals, universities, and equipment companies is becoming increasingly common worldwide to promote collaboration and support sustainable development in healthcare. By joining forces with GE HealthCare, Vinmec and VinUniversity are committed to advancing medical training, research, and technology deployment to meet international standards and improve patient care in Vietnam.
