The DeKalb Public Library has partnered with the DeKalb County Health Department to offer monthly information booths for patrons. These booths will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the third Tuesday of each month in the library’s main lobby, located at 309 Oak St. Admission to these booths is free for all attendees.

The booths will provide a range of services and programs, including information on the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) as well as details about immunizations and health care enrollment during special enrollment periods. Visitors will have the chance to speak with health department staff about their services and programs. Additionally, the booths will focus on introducing new services and highlighting nationally recognized observances such as Earth Month and National Public Health Week in April, Men’s Health, LGBTQ and Pride Month in June, Women’s Health Week in June, Healthy Vision Month in July, and National Immunizations Awareness Month in August.
