Three distinguished business leaders from Northeast Georgia were recently honored by the Boy Scouts of America’s Northeast Georgia Council for their outstanding contributions to the community. Spence Price, Ron Quinn, and Nath Morris were recognized as the Ralph Cleveland Distinguished Citizens on March 21 during the Boy Scouts’ 25th annual American Values Dinner.

Price, a member of The Georgia Society of CPAs and the GSCPA Real Estate Section, is currently the Northeast Georgia Health System Board Chair. He also serves on the Health System’s Executive and Finance Committees as well as various other committees and sub-committees. Price has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and community involvement throughout his career, making him an ideal candidate for this prestigious award.

Quinn, who serves as vice-chair of the board of directors for The Arts Council and as president of the Rotary Club of Gainesville, is also a member of the Community Bankers Association Board of Directors, Independent Community Bankers of America Federal Delegate Board, Riverside Sandy Beaver Award Committee, Knox Martin Foundation Advisory Board, and Junior Achievement of North Georgia Board of Directors. Quinn’s commitment to community service has been evident throughout his career, making him a valuable asset to any organization he joins.

Morris has served on the Hall County Board of Education for 24 years and is a former president of the Georgia School Board Association. In 2019, he received the Northeast Georgia Regional Educational Service Agencies’ Pioneer in Education Award for his contributions to education in Northeast Georgia. Morris has also been involved in various community organizations such as Gateway House, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Agriculture
