On Thursday, in Santa Ana, a murder-suicide attempt occurred that left two victims dead. The two people killed were identified as 25-year-old Jordan Block and 64-year-old Brian Martin. According to authorities, the attack took place in a unit of a business complex, where the niece and uncle were discovered.

The boyfriend of Jordan, who called 911, was present when the attack happened. He ended up stabbing both Block and Martin, resulting in their tragic deaths. Even though the police arrived quickly after receiving the call, they found the victims already deceased.

People who knew Brian described him as friendly and even taught women’s self-defense classes. His collection of ancient swords was well-known, with one found bloodied outside the garage in the aftermath of the incident. The suspect, Jordan’s boyfriend, was found with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was in critical condition as of Friday afternoon. The motive for the attack was still under investigation.
