WSFA 12 News is thrilled to welcome its newest sports reporter, Davis Baker, to the team. Baker comes to WSFA after serving as the sports director for KTEN in Denison, Texas for the past two years. During his time at KTEN, he was the weeknight sports anchor, covering local and regional sports news in north Texas and southeast Oklahoma. Additionally, he produced and hosted feature shows and football previews.

Originally from Georgia, Baker graduated from the University of Georgia with a major in journalism. Prior to his time at KTEN, he interned at WRBL in Columbus, Georgia and wrote for “Bulldawg Illustrated” in Athens, Georgia, focusing on UGA sports. Baker has a passion for SEC sports and is eager to highlight high school, college, and professional athletes in Alabama.
