Kajima Corporation recently announced a significant reduction in carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions for the construction of a concrete dome for the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo. The company will use a type of low-carbon concrete that reduces emissions by 70% compared to conventional construction methods.

The construction of the dome is scheduled to commence in April and be completed in November 2024.
