On Sunday, April 21, the University of Jamestown baseball team faced off against Morningside University at Jack Brown Stadium. The Jimmies struggled to keep up with the Mustangs and only managed two hits during the game. Catcher Triston Madison had a standout performance, going 2-for-3 with one double and one strikeout.

In the first inning, the Jimmies scored their first run on an RBI ground out by Chase Burke, taking an early 1-0 lead over the Mustangs. However, Morningside fought back and ultimately won the game 4-1 with a three-run home run in the sixth inning.

The second game of the doubleheader was not much better for the Jimmies as they struggled on the mound and lost to Morningside 11-3. The Mustangs took an early lead with a home run, but the Jimmies responded with a two-run shot by Triston Madison in the third inning. Despite their efforts, Morningside pulled ahead with a series of runs and ultimately won handily.
