Hyundai Motor Group (the Group) has once again demonstrated its success at the World Car Awards, as the Kia EV9 was awarded the 2024 World Car of the Year and 2024 World Electric Vehicle awards at the New York International Auto Show. In addition to these prestigious titles, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N was named the 2024 World Performance Car, highlighting the Group’s leadership in electric vehicles and the advanced technology of its Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP).
These victories in 2024 showcase Hyundai Motor Group’s continued excellence at the World Car Awards over the years. The IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 previously claimed triple titles in 2022 and 2023, respectively, in the categories of World Car of the Year, World Electric Vehicle, and World Car Design of the Year.
