The Emergency Medical Services for Children Program and the Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Act were both reauthorized by the House Energy and Commerce Committee on March 12. The act provides grants to support health care organizations in offering behavioral health services for front-line health care workers, while the program offers funding for equipment and training to help hospitals and paramedics treat pediatric emergencies.
