The Political Participation and Training department of the PD organized a national laboratory in Frascati from 12 to 14 April. This event, titled “House by house, street by street,” aimed to provide territories with the tools and skills needed for effective party management during electoral campaigns.

The two-day event, held at Centro Giovanni XXIII, marked the first in-person meeting after two cycles of webinars that tested various forms of participation and sharing of proposals and campaigns launched by the PD. Feedback from party members was gathered regarding their training needs, which led to the organization of this event.

Around 200 participants from across Italy will meet trainers, experts, and political leaders to work on organizing and managing electoral campaigns during the European elections. This immersive experience aims to build a community of activists who will collaborate with thousands of PD militants using innovative tools. The work will be conducted behind closed doors starting on Friday, 12 April and concluding on Sunday, 14 April morning.

According to Marwa Mahmoud, responsible for political training in the national secretariat of the PD, there has been a strong demand for politics understood as a set of values, idealities, and a sense of unity and shared projects through a bottom-up approach. The goal of the event in Frascati is to provide territories with the necessary tools and skills for effective party management during elections.
