On Friday, the Helsinki Stock Exchange saw a decrease, with the OMXH general index dropping by 0.2 percent to 9,903.21 points. Some of the most actively traded shares that saw gains included Nordea (+0.8%), Training (+1.1%), and Fortum (+0.8%).

One major highlight of the day was the blood analysis company Nightingale Health, which saw a significant increase of 28.4%. The company announced an agreement with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, one of the largest healthcare systems in the United States, to analyze 50,000 blood samples. The financial impact of this agreement is expected to be significant in the fiscal year 2024-2025.

Another notable development was Enersense International’s associate company P2X Solutions receiving investment from Swiss energy company Alpiq, making Alpiq the main owner of P2X. This investment is valued at around 47 million euros, leading to a decrease in Enersense’s shareholding in P2X.

There was also news of a key personnel change at Huhtamäki as their director of strategy and business development left the company. Verkkokauppa.com also saw a notable block trade worth EUR 387,200 on Friday.

Several recommendation changes were issued by different firms on Friday as well. Notably, Vaisala made changes to their target prices and recommendations for various companies listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange while Iltalehti, Inderes and OP made changes to their recommendations for companies listed on HSE.

Kepler Cheuvreux and Danske Bank also issued changes to their target prices and recommendations for various companies listed on HSE.
