On Sunday, Ethan Crist’s home and garage on River Road outside Jersey Shore were destroyed by a devastating fire. Despite the destruction, his landscaping business, Cutting Edge, was back up and running on Monday to meet the needs of his clients.

Crist kept all of his essential equipment, including zero-turn lawn mowers, in a barn down the road. As a result, he was able to continue working without interruption. Although the fire leveled his home and garage, Crist expressed gratitude for the support of his family and neighbors during this difficult time.

Despite not being able to meet with his insurance agent yet due to the fire, Crist was out cutting grass on Monday morning. He was determined to keep his business running and serve his clients despite the devastation that had befallen him and his property.

The property and business were fully insured, and firefighters worked for hours to fully extinguish the blaze. The fire marshal was investigating the origin and cause of the fire as much of the second floor collapsed early on. Although Crist was grateful for their efforts in saving what they could from the flames, he knew that it would take time for him to rebuild both personally and professionally.
