The First Impressions Awards were given to employees who consistently deliver exceptional customer service and make a positive impact on visitors. Lynnette Ingalls from 22Ten Kitchen Cocktails, Trisha Lux from Glo Best Western Dawley Farm Village, Kelly Woldt from Simply Perfect, and Allison Weiland, the executive director at The Sioux Falls State Theatre Co., were among the recipients. These employees are dedicated to providing top-notch service to visitors and ensuring that they have a positive experience in Sioux Falls.

These awards were presented at the annual Visitor Industry Luncheon where keynote speaker Becky Hammon shared her insights and experiences with the audience. Hammon is a South Dakota native and head coach of the back-to-back WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces.
