In Jamestown, during a girls high school flag football game at Strider Field, Ella Propheter can be seen running away from a defender from Sweet Home. The Red & Green team won the game 34-9, with Propheter completing 14 of 16 passes for 147 yards and three touchdowns, as well as rushing for 70 yards. Propheter led the defense with six flag pulls and a 44-yard interception return for a touchdown. Meanwhile, in other sports news, Fredonia’s Jordan Lucas had a successful start to her senior year, while Dunkirk’s Paul Trippy III had an impressive performance.

Kaylee Leeper ran 12 times for 37 yards and Abbee Brandow caught a 33-yard touchdown for Jamestown. In bowling, Ray Textor’s performance of 269-248-741 for Butternut Equine stood out in the Classic Doubles League in Jamestown.
