The Montgomery Museum of Art & History in Montgomery County, Virginia is currently showcasing miniature art in an exhibit that highlights the creativity of local artist Blake Gore. This exhibit serves as inspiration for those interested in creating their own miniature art at the upcoming “Miniature Easel Workshop” led by Amanda Kelly on Saturday, April 27 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Visitors can view Blake Gore’s miniature art in the “Creativity Enclosed: Reusing Historic Safe Deposit Boxes” exhibit and take part in the upcoming workshop to learn how to create their own miniatures. In May, the museum will be hosting the Art of Happiness program, which explores positive psychology and the connection between art and happiness. There are other exciting events coming up at the museum as well, including “The Heist of Montgomery Bank,” a live play Dungeons and Dragons event scheduled for Saturday, April 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
