The Africa Health Conference, now in its second year, brought together women leaders from across the continent to discuss the changing landscape of healthcare in Africa. Held at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the conference showcased individuals who are driving this transformation.

The two-day event took place in late February and saw the participation of around 200 attendees. Organized by the Harvard Chan Africa Health Students Forum, student organizers included Valencia Lambert, Sabrina Ebengho, Teguo Djoyum, Tatenda Mujeni, and Anja Riester. The conference featured experts speaking on various topics such as the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, securing Africa’s health security, strengthening supply chains and innovation in healthcare, health startups, health technology, and financing healthcare.
