Between April 18 and April 25, several food establishments in Orange County were closed by health inspectors. One of the restaurants that was shut down during this time period was Pad Thai, located at 12620 Westminster Ave., Suite A in Santa Ana. The reason for the closure was a rodent infestation, but the restaurant was able to reopen the following day on April 25.

Another restaurant, Pepz Pizza & Eatery at 646 S. Brookhurst St. in Anaheim, was closed on April 24 due to a cockroach infestation. However, this restaurant was able to reopen on the same day.

In an update from the previous week, Nutricion Poderosa at 932 S. Euclid St. in Anaheim was closed on April 17 because of a cockroach infestation. However, this establishment was allowed to reopen on April 19.
