The Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians Foundation has launched its Technology in Schools Program, which offers grants to school administrators and faculty in Santa Barbara County. The program provides a chance for educators to apply for funding to support specific projects that aim to enhance the use of technology in schools. Grants awarded through this initiative can be used to purchase hardware, upgrade infrastructure, add high-tech resources and improve curriculum.
Since its inception in 2015, the Chumash Foundation has distributed over $430,000 in grants to schools across the region. This year’s deadline for applications is April 30th, and all interested applicants must submit their grant proposals online.
