Google Photos is well-known for its ability to detect and categorize images in various sections, making it easy for users to find and access their photos. One of the latest updates to the application is the addition of a ‘Show less’ feature in the Memories section.

With this feature, users can limit the visibility of specific faces in their photographs stored in Memories, giving them more control over what they see in the app. This new functionality allows users to keep images of a particular person saved but reduce their frequency in the Memories section. This feature is more flexible than the ‘Block Face’ option, which completely removes faces from Memories and group photos.

To access this feature, users need to go to the Settings section, navigate to Preferences, and then click on Memories. From there, they can adjust their preferences regarding face display in Memories. Google Photos continues to improve its features and provide users with a personalized photo management experience.

In addition to People Search, Google Photos also offers other sections such as Places Search and Pets Search, which help users find photos based on specific locations or animals. These sections make it easier for users to organize and search for their favorite memories.

Overall, Google Photos is an excellent tool that helps users manage their photos by automatically categorizing them into different sections based on content analysis. With its latest update of ‘Show less,’ users have even more control over how they view their memories within the app.
