Jared McCain and Kyle Filipowski, the top scorers at Duke, have decided to enter the NBA draft. The announcement was made on social media by both players. Filipowski, a sophomore from Westtown, New York, had an impressive season as the team’s leading scorer. He averaged 16.4 points per game and led the team in rebounds and blocked shots. In his announcement, Filipowski expressed gratitude to the school, fans, teammates and coaches for their support in helping him pursue his lifelong dream of playing in the NBA.

On the other hand, McCain, a freshman from Sacramento California also announced that he will be entering the draft after averaging 14.3 points per game in his first season at Duke. He thanked his family, fans, coaches and teammates for their support during his college journey. McCain stated that he has always been a dream chaser and is determined to reach his goal of playing in the NBA.

Both players are expected to be mid-first-round selections in the NBA draft. Duke finished the season with a 27-9 record before falling to ACC rival North Carolina State in the NCAA Tournament’s Elite Eight round.
