Meanwhile, starting Monday, a resurfacing project on Business Loop 83 near York City will commence according to PennDOT. The project will cover the area from the South George Street (Exit 15) ramps at I-83 in York Township to West Drive at WellSpan York Hospital in Spring Garden Township. Additionally, the project will include work on the ramps at Exit 15 and a section of South George Street that runs from Business Loop 83 north to West Drive.

During the project, short-term lane closures will occur only during nighttime hours, with no lane closures between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained when the work zone is active, and there may be short-term ramp closures at night. The $4.4 million project, led by JVI Group Inc. of York Springs, Adams County, involves base repair, milling, paving, minor drainage updates, guide rail updates, and other miscellaneous work.
