Aaron LaBerge, a 20-year veteran at Disney, is leaving the company to become Chief Technology Officer at Penn Entertainment on July 1. During his time as Disney’s CTO, LaBerge oversaw several important projects, including integrating Hulu into Disney+ and launching an ESPN streaming app.

Penn CEO Jay Snowden expressed his excitement about LaBerge joining the team, citing his experience leading global teams of engineers, developers, designers, and technologists. LaBerge himself shared his intentions to leverage his experiences from Disney and ESPN to make ESPN Bet a crucial part of the sports fan experience.

Before his time at Disney and ESPN, LaBerge was the co-founder and CEO of Fanzter, Inc. where he oversaw the development and launch of various consumer-focused digital products. His expertise in technology and consumer engagement will be valuable to Penn Entertainment as they continue to grow and innovate in the gaming industry.
