First District Health Unit in Minot hosted an open house on Monday to showcase the wide range of programs and services they provide beyond just COVID-related services. The Environmental Health Division at First District Health Unit provides training, information, and guidance to the public on topics such as food safety, rabies, and hazardous waste. They also regulate and inspect food and beverage establishments, as well as public areas like parks and swimming pools.

The health unit is committed to serving as a community partner by offering job services, community medical services, and collaborating with other organizations to provide comprehensive care to community members.
