Dignity Health and Aetna have come to a new agreement that ensures Aetna members will continue to have in-network access to Dignity’s services, facilities, and providers in California, Arizona, and Nevada. This agreement was reached after failed negotiations earlier in April that resulted in the removal of Dignity Health facilities and providers from Aetna’s network.

The contract, which took effect on April 1, covers any Aetna members who have received services from Dignity since that date. Both parties expressed their commitment to providing quality care to members, with Dignity Health’s president stating that the agreement is a win for patients who deserve access to high-quality care.

Aetna’s vice president and chief network officer for the Western and South Central region emphasized their dedication to meeting the healthcare needs of their members through their network of providers. Members with any questions about their coverage should contact the number listed on their insurance card for assistance.
