The Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce honored Dave Guiler, owner of Premier Entertainment Group LLC, as the Small Business Person of the Year during a luncheon celebrating Small Business Week 2024. Guiler was chosen from a pool of finalists that included Joshue Bane of Evergreen Creative Co., Reginald Greenwood of Sister’s Soul Express, and Sandi Hodge of Shute Pecan Co. Inc. Walt Ellis, chairman of the Membership Development Council at Wiregrass Wealth Management, recognized the hard work and dedication required to run a successful small business and emphasized the importance of acknowledging small business owners like Guiler.
During his acceptance speech, Guiler thanked his team for their contributions to achieving this milestone and highlighted the importance of showcasing Premier’s services for large concerts and events in Dothan and nationwide. He expressed pride in representing both the city of Dothan and the entertainment industry with this prestigious award. Guiler also shared his joy in seeing clients’ dreams come to life during successful shows.
The week’s events included surprise patrol visits to local businesses and a Women’s Night Out at the Chamber, with the four finalists serving as guest speakers at the award luncheon.
