On April 18, 2024, the Health Sciences LEAP (HS LEAP) program recognized and celebrated the achievements of its graduates. The event began with a poster presentation by third-year students of the HS LEAP program. This was followed by a delightful dinner catered by a local small business. The highlight of the evening was a program that included speeches by LEAP Interim Director Seetha Veeraghanta and the presentation of program certificates by Health Sciences LEAP Instructor Erica Rojas. Professor Rojas closed the event with reflections on the program’s impact and congratulations to the students as they move on to their next chapter in their lives.

Over the years, past graduates of the LEAP program have gone on to pursue graduate degrees at various schools within the health sciences campus and embarked on diverse career paths in different fields such as medicine, dentistry, research, therapy, and more.
