On Saturday, May 18th, 2024, the Eastside Diamond Hoppers vs. Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers baseball games will feature special Mental Health Awareness programming. The first pitch is at 5:30 p.m., and there will be a doubleheader, with one ticket valid for both games. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.

The USPBL is bringing attention to Mental Health Awareness Month with this important event. Nearly 1 in 5 American adults suffer from a mental illness each year, and community awareness can help reduce stigma and increase the likelihood of treatment or intervention. The first 500 fans will receive a free Mental Health Awareness T-shirt courtesy of Epoch Expressions.

The Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers will be wearing specialty jerseys to promote Mental Health Awareness. These jerseys will be available for purchase leading up to the game and after the game. All proceeds from the jersey sales will go to the Brendan Davis Memorial Foundation. The link to bid on jerseys will be available soon.

For Double Play Saturday, there is a special ticket offer for $15.99 that includes admission to both games, a Salus Group Platinum Club Box Seat, one hot dog, and one soft drink. This is a great deal to enjoy a day at the ballpark while supporting Mental Health Awareness.

Magician Anthony Grupido will be presenting the Magic of Hope in between games, adding an extra element of entertainment to the evening.

Community members are encouraged to attend this event and learn more about mental health awareness while enjoying a fun night out at the ballpark with family and friends!
