C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans revealed that he was the last to know about the team’s acquisition of star wide receiver Stefon Diggs during offseason workouts. Stroud admitted that he was asleep when news of the trade broke, as he had been back home in L.A. on the West Coast. After waking up to messages from friends asking how he felt, he finally saw the news on Instagram and realized the Texans had acquired Diggs.

Stroud expressed his excitement about the addition of Diggs to the team, citing their previous meeting at the Pro Bowl as a positive interaction that laid the foundation for their relationship. With Diggs joining an already productive Texans offense, the duo is expected to create a potent tandem that will improve the team’s performance.

Last season, Diggs had an impressive performance with the Buffalo Bills, catching 107 passes for 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns. He joins receivers like Nico Collins and rookie Tank Dell, who have also shown promise on the field.
