In the 77th World Health Assembly, experts from all over the world will gather in Geneva to tackle the challenges that prevent access to diagnostics in low- and middle-income countries. Fragmented supply chains and market barriers are just a few of the obstacles that need to be addressed as threats like HIV, tuberculosis, and antimicrobial resistance continue to persist. Diagnostic network optimization (DNO) is a process used by many countries to identify gaps and inefficiencies in healthcare delivery. However, much of the data collected during DNO processes is not fully utilized, which hinders the effectiveness of improving healthcare systems and combating diseases.

To unlock insights from DNO processes, Foreign Policy and Cepheid are hosting an event on May 30th to discuss how we can enhance pathogen detection, strengthen global health systems, achieve universal health coverage, and combat antimicrobial resistance. The event will take place on May 30th, 2024, from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM CET. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn more about how we can work together to improve diagnostics and advance global health efforts.
