These challenges significantly hinder the improvement of women’s health in the region. It is crucial that global health leadership recognizes the importance of equal access to healthcare in achieving better health outcomes for women on the continent.

In an upcoming program, two prominent global health leaders from Africa will discuss strategies for overcoming obstacles to providing equitable healthcare for women on the continent. The speakers for the program include Awa Marie Coll Seck, Former Senior Minister to the President of Senegal, Richard L. and Ronay A. Menschel Senior Leadership Fellow at the Harvard T.H.
