On March 21st, 2024, McGill’s Chemistry Outreach Group participated in the Real Ventures Future Innovators Science Fair at the Royal Charles Elementary School. As part of their efforts to promote diversity and inclusion in STEM fields, they joined forces with other experts and educators to inspire students.

One of the members of the Chemistry Outreach group, Paty Garcia, shared her personal journey and how it influenced her perception of women in STEM. She reflected on how her educational background motivated her to pursue a career in science and encouraged young minds to see themselves as future leaders in the field.

Real Ventures collaborates with groups like McGill’s Chemistry Outreach to increase diversity in STEM fields and encourage youth from all backgrounds to pursue careers in science. Through hands-on learning experiences, they aim to make a lasting impact on the next generation of innovators.
