Osceola County has announced plans to move forward with a new technology library project, which will be located on 9.76 county-owned acres next to the Florida Department of Health at 1875 Fortune Road. The one-story, 8,000-square-foot facility is set to cost $7.1 million and will feature cutting-edge technology and resources for residents.

The conceptual floor plan for the technology library includes a variety of features, including a dedicated 3D printer room, an artificial intelligence learning and coding room, a space for virtual and augmented reality, and a laser engraver. Additionally, the building will have a room for e-sports and co-working space for businesses, as well as computers available for public use.
