Brandon Jones secured the pole position for the Xfinity race at Martinsville Speedway, tying the track record set by Ty Gibbs in 2022 with a lap of 96.151 mph. This marked Jones’s ninth career pole win and his first since 2022. Despite the achievement, Jones and his team discovered a hairline crack in the brake rotor and anticipated dropping to the rear of the field for the race.

Following Jones in qualifying was Cole Custer in second, Sheldon Creed in third, Jeb Burton in fourth, and Justin Allgaier in fifth. Carson Kvapil made his Xfinity debut for JR Motorsports and qualified 12th with a lap of 95.280 mph. With NASCAR Cup Series teams racing at Martinsville on Sunday, Chandler Smith, the Xfinity point leader, could not participate in qualifying due to a brake issue that resulted in a crash during practice.

Aric Almirola qualified sixth, Jesse Love qualified 11th, and Parker Kligerman qualified 18th for the upcoming race. The green flag is set to wave at 7:47 p.m. ET on Saturday night with FS1 providing coverage. Pre-race coverage will begin with NASCAR RaceDay on FS1 at 7 p.m. ET.
