The Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) has recently launched a new podcast called Health Connect. The goal of the podcast is to explore the connections between BVHS’s services and the communities it serves. Each episode, which is approximately 20 minutes long, will feature discussions about new physicians/providers, cutting-edge technology, and the intricacies of healthcare in Northwest Ohio.

The first episode of Health Connect was released on April 18 and can be found on major podcasting platforms as well as the BVHS website. Eric Proctor, the chief people officer at BVHS, and Sam Sprunger, a podcaster from Bluffton, co-host the podcast. In each episode, Proctor shares insights into BVHS culture and career opportunities while highlighting unique stories of patients, associates, and medical staff within the organization. Sprunger brings a layperson’s perspective to offer a fresh and curious outlook on the healthcare industry.

Proctor is excited about Health Connect’s potential to showcase BVHS as a connected care network that caters to individuals of all ages and needs. He looks forward to sharing remarkable stories of BVHS through this new platform while allowing the community to get to know the exceptional people within the organization and learn about what makes BVHS special.
