Jun Takahashi has been painting for around eight, nine, or ten years. He primarily uses oil paint and enjoys spending time in his bedroom at home, where the smell of oil permeates the space. However, when he paints in his countryside studio, the scent is less overwhelming due to the presence of wind. In his Tokyo home, the smaller space results in a mix of oil and dog pee odors, which he humorously acknowledges.

Takahashi leads a diverse and balanced life that involves juggling responsibilities with his brand, family, children, art, urban and rural lifestyles, movies, running, and music. While many creatives fixate on one passion, Takahashi finds harmony in pursuing multiple interests. His children bring different perspectives and experiences into his life as they have varied interests in K-pop and makeup.

Known as the godfather of streetwear, Takahashi reflects on his connection with youth culture. Despite not actively keeping up with the younger generation due to restricted social outings, he remains curious about their interests. He views this period as an opportunity to harness creativity as a powerful tool to navigate uncertainties amidst challenging economic conditions. He acknowledges the importance of adaptability and financial management to sustain his brand Undercover amidst fluctuating market conditions.

Through it all, Takahashi finds solace and purpose in his creative pursuits.
