S-group and S-bank customers can now pay and collect bonuses using their Apple devices. Apple’s mobile payment service, Apple Pay, has been expanded to include S-bank’s customers. This was announced in a press release from S group on Tuesday. Customers can add their S-etukortti Visa payment card to Apple Pay and their bonus-accumulating advantage card to Apple’s Wallet application.

Paying with a digital S-bank card is simple – users can press the lock button twice on their iPhone and hold the device close to the cash register payment terminal. Transactions can also be completed using Apple’s smart watch, with authentication through fingerprint recognition, face recognition, or the device’s code number.

To add an S benefit card to Apple’s Wallet, users can do so through the S-mobile application. They must go to the “Me” section and select “Add to Apple Wallet”. It is important to ensure that the latest version of the S-mobile application (2.27.0) is being used. Card connection is also possible through the Wallet application by clicking the + button and following the on-screen instructions.

S group’s customers have a total of four million S advantage cards in use, with a majority being international payment cards from S-bank. The S advantage card can also be connected to Google Pay on Android phones. With this expansion, customers of both companies can enjoy more convenience in making payments while collecting bonuses using their Apple devices
