Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center recently hosted its 2024 prom celebration, with residents, families, volunteers and even some Savannah Police officers in attendance. The event was a grand affair, with residents dressed in beautiful fancy outfits.
Dawn Baker, a journalist from WTOC, attended the celebration and shared that many residents who do not typically participate in events like this were excited to get their hair done, dress up, and be a part of the prom. This opportunity not only improved their quality of life but also gave them something to look forward to.
During the celebration, Dawn Baker announced the 2024 prom king, Mr. James Webber, and the prom queen, Mrs. Melvina Gould. Congratulations to them both for being crowned and thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable afternoon possible.
