In recent news, Xbox has announced a lineup of independent video games that will be available on their consoles and PC this year. During the ‘ID@Xbox Showcase 2024’ event, several titles were showcased, including 33 Immortals, Commandos Origins, and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

One of the standout games was 33 Immortals, a cooperative ‘roguelike’ video game developed by Thunder Lotus Games. This action-packed title allows players to team up with 32 friends to fight against monsters and final bosses while surviving God’s final judgment. The closed beta for this game is set to launch on May 29.

Another game announced was Astor: Blade of the Monolith, developed by C2 Game Studio, which is scheduled for release on May 30. In this hack-and-slash ARPG, players will follow Astor, a warrior investigating the mysteries of the planet Gliese and uncovering the truth behind his ancestors’ disappearance.

Xbox also revealed Commandos Origins, the new installment in the war saga developed by Claymore Game Studios and set in World War II. Players will take on the role of protagonist Jack O’Hara and his companions, embarking on historically authentic war missions. The closed beta for Commandos Origins is slated for this summer.

Centum, an enigmatic 8-bit adventure game developed by Serenity Forge, was also introduced during the event. This game challenges players to navigate mysterious environments and make decisions to escape with a deceptive narrator guiding them. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage by Don’t Nod, Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter, and updates for Palworld and Vampire Survivors were also showcased.

Upcoming releases like Keylocker, Stampede: Racing Royale, Times & Galaxy, Fera: The Sundered, and several others were announced at the event, adding to the diverse range of independent games set to arrive on Xbox platforms in the coming months.
