The Wyoming Cowgirl tennis team has secured a spot in postseason play for the second year in a row. They will be competing in the UTR NIT tournament, which is scheduled to take place from May 5-8 in Bradenton, Florida.

The Cowgirls had a successful season with a 16-10 record, finishing third in the Mountain West Conference with a 7-3 record. Three Cowgirls received All-Mountain West honors, with Noesjka Brink and Sophie Zehender making the All-Singles Team and Violetta Borodina and Zehender making the All-Doubles Team.

Wyoming will be competing against teams like Colorado, West Virginia, Tulsa, Liberty, Appalachian State, Pacific, and Saint Mary’s in this year’s tournament. Fans can watch all the matches of the tournament on Amazon Prime Video. Last season, the Cowgirls finished with a 2-1 record in the inaugural NIT tournament.

Overall, the team is looking forward to the opportunity to compete in postseason play once again and showcase their talent on a national stage.
