WILD SCIENCE, an exciting new documentary series, is set to begin production next month thanks to the collaboration between BIG MEDIA and Germany’s ZDF Studios. As part of their multi-series output deal signed in December 2023 for German-speaking territories, this thrilling series will offer viewers a unique look into the captivating world of Earth’s most fearsome predators.
Each episode of WILD SCIENCE will explore the intricate behaviors, survival strategies, and unique abilities of each animal using cutting-edge CGI, visually dynamic footage, and a scientific zoological perspective. From the depths of the ocean to the heart of the savannah, this series will dive deep into the science behind these creatures’ remarkable existence.
The advanced technology utilized in WILD SCIENCE was made possible by BIG MEDIA and their partners at ZDF Studios. Martin Kaše, co-founder and Global Head of Production at BIG MEDIA, highlighted the role that AI and 3D rendering played in creating detailed models of nature’s creatures. Meanwhile, Nikolas Huelbusch, Director Unscripted at ZDF Studios expressed excitement about working with BIG MEDIA on this project from development to production.
Both parties are excited about this collaboration as it allows for a hands-on approach to productions like WILD SCIENCE.
