The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at UT Health San Antonio is hosting its annual “Viva Science SA” event on Saturday at the Witte Museum. The event, which is free and open to the public, will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and aims to enlighten, engage, and excite the San Antonio community by showcasing science in an entertaining way.

Students from middle school to graduate level will present posters of their academic research on a variety of health and science topics. Visitors can also enjoy interactive and hands-on science booths with activities for all ages, as well as displays of science-themed artwork. Additionally, attendees can indulge in live entertainment, music, and food from popular food trucks.

The event was created to emphasize the importance of STEM programs and make science accessible to everyone.
