Tesla has reportedly stopped deliveries of their Cybertruck model due to an issue with the accelerator pedal. This news came after several posters on forums dedicated to the Cybertruck shared that their upcoming deliveries were either delayed or cancelled. Additionally, there were complaints from customers about the accelerator pedal getting stuck.

Tesla’s shares fell by 2% to 171.05 in Friday’s stock market trading, although they had gained 3.7% for the week. The company recently reduced the subscription price of Supervised Full Self-Driving to $99 a month from $199, which could potentially make it more accessible to consumers as buying the feature outright currently costs $12,000. There have been reports of a higher than usual number of initial Cybertrucks breaking down and requiring service, sometimes after a minimal number of miles.

In response to these developments, Tesla halted all Cybertruck deliveries for a week to address the accelerator pedal issue. Tesla influencer @wholemarsblog posted on Elon Musk’s X that the company had made this move. To address other concerns, Tesla reduced the subscription price of Supervised Full Self-Driving to $99 a month from $199. This move could potentially make it more accessible to consumers as buying the feature outright currently costs $12,000.
